DIETITICS : Dietitics is a science that deals with the adequacy of diets during normal life cycle and
HEALTH : Health is defined by the World Health Organization of the United Nations as the – State of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity.
NUTRIENT REQUIREMENT : It is defined as the minimum amount of the absorbed nutrient that is necessary for maintaining modifications required during deceased conditions. The normal physiological functions of the body.
RECOMMENDED DIETARY ALLOWANCES (RDA) : It is defined as the nutrient present in the diet which satisfies the daily requirement of nearly all individuals in a population. RDA of an individual depends on many factors like age, sex, and physical work and physiological stress.
